Redevelopment of an abandoned area: building a better future together

This new social team building activity of ours is entirely dedicated to the redevelopment of an abandoned area that was once in mafia hands. We are proud to work on a project that has such an important social impact, and we are happy to be able to involve you in this experience.

The area we are going to redevelop was confiscated from the mafia and will now be transformed into a recreational area for the whole community. This redevelopment project will be an opportunity to make the place a better place, where people can meet, socialise and have fun together.

This area includes former chicken coops, fields and land which, thanks to your contribution, will be transformed into a recreational area for the community. Our goal is to create a place where families can have fun, learn and enjoy the beauty of nature.

The project includes the creation of community gardens, where you and other teams can grow fresh fruit and vegetables, create green spaces with plants and flowers and set up children’s games such as swings, slides and a mini farm with animals.

There will be many challenges in this project, and a lot of sweat! But working together as a team it will be possible to overcome them successfully. As anticipated, our, and your, goal will be to create a multifunctional green area, with community gardens, children’s games, farm animals, and much more.

This is not just a team building activity, but an opportunity to make a difference in our community and, more broadly, in the world. After the work is completed, the area will become a safe and welcoming place for families and groups of friends to spend time together and enjoy the greenery.

Furthermore, the creation of a green area could also be an opportunity to strengthen ties between people in the area and promote social inclusion through the active participation of people from different cultural and social backgrounds. In summary, this project will not only provide a multifunctional green area for the community, but also promote various social, environmental and educational benefits.

A team building activity with a social purpose

Our team building activity is not only an opportunity to have fun and build relationships within the group, but also to work together on a meaningful social project. The redevelopment of a brownfield site is a challenge that requires teamworking and leadership skills to achieve its goals.

Redeveloping an abandoned area for the community

At a time when it is becoming increasingly important to think about environmental protection and sustainability, we as a company have often asked ourselves this question, trying to figure out how to ensure that ‘sustainability’ and ‘social responsibility’ do not remain just words.

At Teamworking, we firmly believe that Corporate Social Responsibility can be applied in everyday life and that it is therefore increasingly important to talk and educate about sustainable development. Of course, always doing it in a fun and engaging way for the team!

Importantly, all the land involved in this redevelopment has been confiscated from the mafia and is now available to the area. This social team building activity of ours is also intended to send a strong message against organised crime.

True, Team Building activities are useful for companies, managers and employees, but why not try to do something more? Why not think about doing something good for others, for nature, for the environment or for people in need?

Social Team Building is a category that helps to make our interventions useful, bringing together all those social initiatives that aim to make participants aware of the most important issues of our present: such as social and ecological issues. All this, of course, without neglecting fun and team spirit.

At the end of the activity, all participants will realise that their team will have done not only a good job, but also one of great importance for the environment. It will certainly be an ennobling experience that will give new impetus to the work of the team as well as that of individuals.

Cultivate vegetable gardens, create games and introduce animals

During the retraining team-building activity, we will work on creating vegetable gardens, children’s games and also animal handling. There will be several activities to choose from, depending on one’s preferences and abilities. In this way, we will be able to create a new reality!

Although the aspects of ecology and sustainability are the two most important in this activity, they are not the only ones to be taken into account. In fact, the working group will also benefit greatly from this social team building!
