Pasta Making Team Building: given our origins, of course we couldn’t overlook this activity between our culinary formats! Although some theories say that Marco Polo imported pasta to Italy from China, we are 100% sure that pasta is an original discovery and a product of Italy.
Take a look at our video of this activity:
For a morning or an afternoon, the kitchen turns into a pasta factory. Participants, divided into groups, learn how to prepare the most popular types of pasta. Ravioli, tortellini, spaghetti, tagliatelle, gnocchi and even a rare and ancient kind like spaghetti alla chitarra… they say that in Italy there are 115 kinds of pasta, and we are resolute to try all of them! Will it be a hard task?..
Of course it is! But Pasta Making Team Building is first of all a mean to discover a little (or, maybe, not so little) part of Italian culinary tradition while enjoying a pleasant and familiar atmosphere together with your coworkers.
Because making fresh pasta is not only about cooking, it’s a team activity. In Italy, when all the big family comes together for a holiday, it is still a tradition to do fresh handmade pasta all together. All the women of the family, guided usually by the grandmother, gather in the kitchen making any kind of pasta and chatting. Why not to try the same experience with your colleagues? You will get to know them from a completely new point of view, relax and learn how to manage time and resources, divide tasks and work in team in order to reach a pleasant aim: your dinner!
