URBAN GAME: Discovering the City!

A fantastic Threasure Hunt enriched with all kind of challenges!

URBAN GAME offers the fantastic opportunity to visit the most interesting places in the city living an exiting teambuilding experience. The participants will visit the city through funny and challenging activities and discover both artistic and cultural spots. Main points are:

This new format mixes Threasure Hunt, Urban Orienteering, Problem Solving and Live Action Game: the four components mix together in a passionate and enrolling game, that associates both the pleasure for visiting the city and the fun for joining the team!

DETAILS ON THE URBAN GAME ACTIVITY   

Partecipants, divided in subteams, have to run through some stops of historycal, artistic and cultural interest. The path is structured in such a way that participants set-up and plan their own “tour” and threasure hunt.

On top of all the activities there are a lot of challenges that allow the participants to work together, interact with people from the city, express themselves, know and work with each other.

During the visit, the teams will have different moments in which they will have to perform activities, overcome challenges, and play games that will score points to the team.

According with the committee, it is possible to insert a break between stops in one or more enogastronomical places, where participants will taste tipical products of the city or also experiencing wine tasting.

In this way they will also get to meet the culture and food specialities of the area.

SUBTEAMS

The group will be divided in smaller teams composed of 5-6 persons.
Every Subteam will follow a different path on the roadmap prepared for them.

The event will start in a location in which the trainer will welcome the participants and will explain the rules of the game.
The movings during the Game are meant to be on feet or by public means of transportation.

The Teams will get to some key places that will have the opportunity to visit and explore them.

PROGRAM:

Briefing and materials assignement
Everybody will receive tha materials and the game rules with a simplified map of the city. This map and dipending on the occasion a compass, will be the only tools to get oriented in the path.
Choice of Path (free for each subteam)
Given the game rules and the goals to achieve the team will decide which path to follow

Threasure hunt start
Each team with the given equipment will have to find out the steps and the places in the city. The peculiarity is that only interacting with people in the city the participants will be able to go on with the GAME.

The teams in fact will have to play and interact with the “city life” in beautyful sities like Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice, Naples, Verona, Turin and many others!
Every step will be associated to games and enigmas with scores that will be calculated at the end of the activity and will lead eventually to assign the award.

To get from one step to the next, the teams will have to solve problems that will become more and more complicated as the game goes on.
